I crashed a while ago and can't find my script dll file. I looked in my Dead Island folder and there were all of these random folders. The one that had scripts in it was the only one that was empty so I tried reinstalling Dead Island but it didn't work! I think this is a problem with UAC security settings to be honest. If you google "Dead Island Cannot Find Script Dll X86 Rwdi. exe" there is a link to a topic about this problem on the Steam forums. It says to open up regedit and delete the following registry key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\SOFTWARE\\Microsoft\\Windows NT\\CurrentVersion\\AeDebug I know that there has been a lot of confusion on what to delete and what not to delete, but if you try everything else above first, then this is probably the only thing that will actually work for you. This will not delete your Dead Island folder or any of your saves or anything like that, it will just stop Windows from blocking all those dll files from being detected so you can play as usual. If you do this and it doesn't work, then try reinstalling Dead Island and it should work for you. That's what I did and it worked perfectly. I hope this works for you guys. If it does, please leave a comment on how well this worked for you!
